Fraxel® laser was developed by our associate Dr. Dieter Manstein at Harvard Medical School. This laser allows providers to perform fractional skin rejuvenation of the neck. Other, completely ablative or non-fractional lasers are not safe to use on the neck because of delayed healing when these devices are used. With Fraxel®, there is no scars and minimal to no downtime. Patients can see an improvement in the wrinkling and texture of the skin of the neck, as well as a nice effect on pigmentation. Several treatments are recommended for maximum results, but each treatment has an effect and benefit that is cumulative.
