The approach to hand rejuvenation is multi-factorial. It takes into account the loss of volume, or skeletization, of the dorsal aspect of the hands, which develops over time. This is successfully corrected with a choice of fillers such as Juvederm Voluma and Radiesse. Additionally, the aging hands also reveal a loss of elasticity and skin thickness. Both of these may benefit from plasma injections using the Selphyl system. Lastly, freckling and fine wrinkles may develop also on the aging hands. This is successfully and safely corrected with fractional devices such as the Fraxel laser. |
