Deep Level Fillers

These fillers are very stable and have higher viscosity, compared to other fillers. This allows them to create a lifting effect on the face. They are used to restore the volume lost on the upper cheeks, creating not only a lift but also an improvement in the jowls and nasolavial folds. They should be the first line of fillers that is used during a liquid facelift on the face. Juvéderm Voluma® XC and Radiesse® are very well tolerated, 'natural' fillers, with allergic reactions being rare, as they are based on either hyaluronic acid or calcium hydroxyapatite, which are similar to our own body's composition within the skin and bone, respectively.

Juvéderm Voluma® XC injectable gel is the first and only filler FDA-approved to instantly add volume to the cheek area. It gives you a subtle lift, helping to restore contour and a more youthful profile, for up to 2 years, in patients over the age of 21. It's different than Juvéderm XC and works on a different area of the face. Juvéderm XC smoothes out moderate to severe wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth, like parentheses.
